Zesty Zoe

Here's Zoe, dressed up like a baby, at the Halloween Parade at Bela's school. I think she is excited about riding in the buggy along the bike trail and smiling at all the parents next year!

Tinker Belle Bela

Here's Isabel's class, walking along the side of the school, ready to line up to march in the Halloween Parade. Isabel is the beautiful young lady in green, number three in line. Ah, ready to GO!

Having Fun as a Rasta Lady

What fun I have teaching my two-year-olds!

Isabel and her Teacher Suey

Here are Sue and Iz on the playground the morning of the big Halloween parade at school.

Romping at Sunset

The sun is setting and the frisbee is waiting, as Ben, Andy and I enjoy a little game in Naples, Florida in 2005.

Ben the Chef at the Ritz

Imagine this! Ken and I were treated to an assortment of hors d'eouvres, courtesy of Chef Ben at the Ritz, and especially created just for us. Major yum!

Naples, Florida in 2005

Ben, Andy and I sought shelter from a rainstorm at an outdoor restaurant near the condo Ben lived in while he was an extern at the Ritz Carlton.

My New Pet Rooster

Here's the birthday boy enjoying his new ceramic rooster.

Zantastic Zoe and Magnificent Mom

It was Zoe's first party, and she decided to serenade Andy in fine form. Her singing voice is not yet accomplished, in that she is a mere 5 weeks old. So it took on the form of crying, but the spirit was definitely there! After awhile, Mom and Papa decided to turn on the vacuum cleaner, and then, Zoe settled. Later, Zoe and Grandma Kathy had a special time together, making plans for Zoe's upcoming visit on Saturday, November 3.

The Bell of the Ball

Isabel (the Bell) was in fine form at Andy's birthday party. When Andy arrived at his party, she serenaded him with a birthday song she had learned at school. Among its lyrics are references to "You look like a monkey," and "You belong in a zoo." She wasn't sure he would remember the song, so she sang it many times!

Andy's 20th Birthday Party

Andy shows the special knife given to him by Brother Ben. Another gift was big buckeroos from Brother Craig and family. Mom and Ken gave him a blanket and a gift card to Barnes and Noble (for when he has time to read during college break, natch!)

The Family!

Here's your new little sister! Daddy Craig, Mommy Judy, Grandma Kathy and sisters Isabel and Zoe.

Gumpy

The very proud Gumpy Ken. Ah yes, the Zoe has "zentastic" lungs!

Grandma and the Bell

Here we are at the hospital, dining. Sister Zoe had been born that morning. Isabel is content, sitting on the window sill; Grandma is in a daze.

The Bell

This is the Bell (Isabel Grace) at our house, celebrating her mom's birthday on September 1. Bell was in fine form. The hair is not her own!

Rothenburg

It's me, enjoying one of our many walks through the cobblestone streets of an ancient village. We took a horse and buggy ride, climbed to the top of a tower overlooking the city (YIKES!), and toured the city with the famed Night Watchman.

Cruising the Rhine

Here we are on a four-hour cruise of the Rhine. We were on our way to our castle, enjoying a meal and a narration about the magnificent sites: cliffs, grapes, castles and freighters. And, of course, the people!

A View From the Castle

Here's the view of the Rhine from our suite in the castle at the village called Kamp Bornhofen in Germany. The family-owned castle dated back to the 1200's. We chatted with goats out our window.

St Goar

In early August, I went to Germany with my dad, Harold Popple and my husband, Ken. One day we took a train along the Rhine River to St. Goar. This is our view from an outdoor cafe. You'll see castles in the background. The next day, we stayed in a castle on the Rhine. Unreal!

Happy Grandma

It's the oldest theme in the world, but yep, it's me, Happy Grandma. This seems like a good venue to post pictures of my sprites. Stay tuned!
